• The Gendarmenmarkt is a famous square in Berlin including the Berlin concert hall and the French and German Churches. In the centre of the square stands a monumental statue of poet Friedrich Schiller. The square was created by Johann Arnold Nering at the end of the seventeenth century as the Linden-Markt and reconstructed by Georg Christian Unger in 1773. The Gendarmenmarkt is named after the cuirassier regiment Gens d’Armes, which had stables at the square until 1773.

When you exchange your voucher with our City Circle salesperson, you will receive a ticket for the bus and a voucher for the boat trip. With this, you go to the boat pier and start your boat tour.
At the Nikolai Viertel, the boat departure times are between 11 am to 4 pm.
At the Friedrichstr. / Weidendamm boat pier, the boat departure times are between 11 am to 4:15 pm.
