Pass By: Reichstag Building, Platz der Republik 1, 10557 Berlin Germany
At the big “Flagge der Einheit” you will meet your personal guide. In front of the main entrance you will hear the amazing story of this world-renowned building as well as some stories about the apocalyptic Battle of Berlin in 1945. We will not visit the Reichstag itself.
Stop At: Brandenburg Gate, Pariser Platz, 10117 Berlin Germany
Brandenburg Gate and the beautiful Pariser Platz are definitely worth a picture… you will also learn more about the countless historical events and landmarks that have taken place at this site.

Stop At: The Holocaust Memorial – Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Cora-Berliner-Strasse 1, 10117 Berlin Germany
This memorial represents the strong emotional expression of Germany dealing with the holocaust and the troubling aspects of its past.

Pass By: Checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstr. 43-45, 10969 Berlin Germany
Checkpoint Charlie was one of the most important border crossings between 1961 and 1990. It connected the Soviet sector with the US-American sector in Friedrichstraße between Zimmerstraße and Kochstraße.
Pass By: Topography of Terror, Niederkirchnerstrasse 8, 10963 Berlin Germany
The Topography of Terror is a project which reminds of the terrors during the NS regime. In this area the headquarters of the Secret State Police (Gestapo) was located as well as the headquarters of the SS Security Service (SD) in 1934 and of the Reich Security Main Office (RSHA) from 1939.

We will shortly stop here and hear the stories of the Cold War, GDR fugitives and day-to-day life in divided Germany. We visit the site, where young Peter Fechter was murdered by border guards in 1962.
Stop At: Gendarmenmarkt, 10117 Berlin Germany
Your tour will end at the most beautiful place in Berlin: Gendarmenmarkt, site of three impressive buildings: The German and the French Cathedral and Schinkel’s Konzerthaus (concert hall), which brings us back to the Prussian times.
