What makes Original Berlin Royal Potsdam Tour a unique experience ?

This Potsdam Tour takes you on a journey through the city that once housed the kings of the Prussian Empire and the Kaisers of Germany. Known for its beauty, Potsdam boasts some of Europe’s most magnificent palaces. Explore Sanssouci Palace, Germany’s largest World Heritage site and a favourite of Frederick the Great. Stroll through the gardens of the Aristocratic Mansion, where the last German Kaiser resided, and visit Cecilienhof, the historic site of the 1945 Potsdam Conference.

The Marmorpalais (or Marble Palace) is a former royal residence in Potsdam, near Berlin in Germany, built on the grounds of the extensive Neuer Garten

Brandenburg, Germany, built from 1914 to 1917 in the layout of an English Tudor manor house. Cecilienhof was the last palace built by the House of Hohenzollern that ruled the Kingdom of Prussia and the German Empire, until the end of World War I. It is famous for having been the location of the Potsdam Conference in 1945, in which the leaders of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States made important decisions affecting the shape of post-World War II Europe and Asia.

No other palace is more closely associated with Frederick the Great’s personality than Sanssouci. The name itself, “Sanssouci” – meaning “without a care” – reflects the king’s primary desire and guiding principle. This was his cherished retreat, a place where he found solace and companionship in the company of his dogs. Sanssouci was ultimately his favorite residence and sanctuary, especially during challenging times.

The Dutch Quarter (Holländisches Viertel) in Potsdam is a charming neighborhood featuring 134 red Dutch brick buildings, nearly all of which have been meticulously restored.

Potsdam, a city just outside Berlin, Germany, was once the summer home of the Prussian King Frederick the Great. The magnificent Sanssouci Palace sits at the heart of the complex, overlooking Italian-style gardens with fountains. Nearby, the historic Mill offers stunning city views. The neoclassical Charlottenhof Palace is surrounded by English gardens, while the 19th-century Roman Baths are a testament to the city’s rich history.
