What to Expect When Visiting Berlin, Berlin, Germany

On this guided 7 hour tour, travel to the regions of Berlin and Potsdam where you will see the following sights: Sanssouci Palace, Cecilienhof Palace, the Dutch Quarter, Luisenplatz, the New Palace, Glienicke Bridge (“Bridge of Spies”), and much more.

One of the most unique Berlin day-trip destinations is the city of Potsdam with its accompanying gardens. This portion of Germany contains many Prussian and Cold War sights in its local parks and along the quiet alleyways.

You will begin by taking the train from the nearby TV tower meeting point at approx 9:30am. Afterwards, you’ll take the train from Berlin and after approx 6 hours, your bike will be waiting for you in Potsdam. This biking experience will cover about 15 kilometers so be prepared.

Here you will visit numerous parks and gardens, unique to WWII and Cold War history. Potsdam, known as the “Versailles of Berlin”, is also known as a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the Potsdam Agreement which was signed at Cecilienhof Palace. This palace was finished before the onset of WWI and possesses over 70 rooms.

At the end of your tour, return via train to the starting location of Alexanderplatz TV tower at approx time 4:30pm.
