Pass By: Weddingplatz, Reinickendorfer Str., 13347 Berlin, Germany

Before the mid-19th century, Wedding was outside the city walls, shunned as a place of wilderness and demons. A century later it was abandoned, and the area remained an urban wilderness, referred to as a ‘desert’ on old maps.

Pass By: Bibliothek am Luisenbad, Badstrasse 39, 13357 Berlin Germany

The Luisenbad Library is one of the nicest libraries in Berlin. It’s bright and spacious inside and some of the old wall structures are still visible too. There’s also a pleasant reading garden out the back.
