The Weser is a stream that flows in a northerly direction through the low mountain sill and the North German lowlands. It takes its name from Hann. Münden, where its two major headwaters, the Werra and the Fulda, join.
St. Peter’s Cathedral in Bremen was built over the foundations of older predecessor buildings from the 11th century in Romanesque style and since the 13th century rebuilt and expanded in Gothic style. Bricked this church building is made of sandstone, in hidden places of the older parts also tuff.
