I have been the Landlord of various Pubs and Bars in both Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen and know the locals very well, I have even worked for World Famous figures from the Passion Play.
I have been doing these Tours for over 15 years.
I do not hassle anybody to buy souvenirs, I just take you to the shops that are honest and have woodcarving in their DNA, there is a 1000 year tradition of Oberammergau and Woodcarving.
I do not even hassle anybody for Reviews, that is why I have so few compared to many others.
I do not charge for extra hours or for Children, “Kids´´ under 18 always travel for FREE!

This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria
We see the site of the 1936 Olympic Games oped by Adolf Hitler and I tell you about the history of both of them.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria
We do a tour of the 2000 year old Ludwigstraße in Partenkirchen, route of the Celts, Romans and Crusaders, Babarosa is reputed to have stayed here on the way to the Crusades.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Ettal Abbey, Kaiser-Ludwig-Platz 1, 82488 Ettal, Bavaria Germany
We stop here to visit the Ettal which was founded in 1333 by Ludwig the Bavarian, King of Italy and Holy Roman Emperor.

The World famous Village of Oberammergau.

Stop At: Schloss Linderhof, Linderhof 12, 82488 Ettal, Bavaria Germany
The place where King Ludwig the Second lived most of his adult life and planned his fantastic Castles of Neuschwanstein and Herrenchiemsee.
Really lazy as the history books will have us believe?
Linderhof was also where Messerschmidt failed to develop the first Ground to Air Missile, the Enzian.
Not many know that!

Stop At: Schloss Neuschwanstein, Neuschwansteinstrasse 20, 87645 Schwangau, Bavaria Germany
On everybody´s Bucket List, even Walt Disney liked it so much he copied the idea for his Kingdom.
We stay here for about 3-4 hours, there is a lot to do and see.´this is also where you can eat something in comfort.
We have to get here 90 minutes before the entry time to secure the pre-booked tickets.
There is normally a Horse and Carriage service to the Castle, much better than walking and there is a restaurant near the entrance, the Plan is to get you up there as soon as possible, missing the entry time means missing the Tour of the Castle!
You can also walk up to the Marien Bridge to take pictures, but you have to be very careful of the timing, so I suggest doing that after the Castle!

Stop At: Lermoos, Lermoos, Tirol, Austrian Alps
We return to Garmisch-Partenkirchen over Lermoos for some wonderful pictures of the South side of the Zugspitze.
The views are amazing and we stop at selected places to be able to take the best pictures without getting run over on windy roads.
Then we drive back to your Hotel or Apartment using the very picturesque road back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
I can of course drop you off at a restaurant or the Train Station, it is YOUR Tour!
