Your first stop at this 1000 years old Monastery, the ‘Cradle of Riesling’, will set the historic and cultural background for our wine experience. We will explore the historic buildings with a focus on the monks contribution to the evolution of winemaking and we will taste 4-6 wines in the beautiful setting of the monastery’s tasting room.
We will cruise past the impressive setting of Johannisberg Palace (and briefly stop if time allows).
