We arrive at 10:00 a.m. at Bavaria’s most famous castle where I will guide you through the crowds and regale you with the history, stories, and mysteries of Ludwig II, Bavaria, and the castle. You will also be privileged to advanced entry into the castle and preferred ticketing time.

Stop At: Unterammergau, Unterammergau, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria
When the weather permits we stop by the local Rodelbahn for a thrilling ride down the mountain in an Alpine Coaster!

Depending on our time I like to stop in Oberammergau village for a late lunch at the Maxbrau brewery and restaurant. The food is exquisite and the beer is exceptional.

I love making a quick stop at the Ettal Monastery for a tour, history, and walk around a fully functioning Benedictine Monastery that has been around since the 14th century!!!

Stop At: Griesbräustraße, 82418 Murnau am Staffelsee, Germany
We end the day at the Griesbrau Brewery and restaurant in downtown Murnau where we discuss the art and history of beer while enjoying a few! When we are lucky the brewmeister comes out and gives us a tour of the brewery with samples!

Once we have had a few beers we wander leisurely to the train station in Murnau where I buy you a ticket for a short 45 minute ride back into the downtown of Munich. The train ride is direct, easy, and includes a beer in hand!
