Itinerary
Day 1: Munich, Germany – Innsbruck, Austria
Stop At: Schloss Neuschwanstein, Neuschwansteinstrasse 20, 87645 Schwangau, Bavaria Germany
Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace are considered among Bavaria’s top attractions, but organizing transportation to visit independently from Munich isn’t easy. On this private tour, begin with pickup at your Munich hotel and explore both castles in a day. Gain insight into the life of colorful Bavarian King Ludwig II, and customize your itinerary to your own preferences. Arriving at the Castle Neuschwanstein you’ll go first to Mary’s bridge with your guide, the best view point and also a top highlight at the castle. Go to a few hidden photo spots after that before you will drive on a very scenic, off the beaten track road to Linderhof, the only Ludwig Castle where every room is finished. Due to all the crowds visiting Neuschwanstein Castle we do not recommend to tour the inside. Take the time it would take to visit the less known, but probably most interesting Ludwig Castle Linderhof.
