Munich Trip Overview
Enjoy an exclusive excursion on the traces of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. The royal time travel starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich city hotel or private accommodation.
As soon as we have arrived at the fairy tale Neuschwanstein Castle, we will explore the palace on a guided tour. Following up we will have plenty of great photo opportunities, be it the castle itself, the old Marienbrücke, or the spectacular surrounding mountain area.
On our way to the Linderhof castle, we will stop in the antique, so-called “woodcarving village”, Oberammergau. Here, all participants will get a delicious lunch and, of course, a great insight into the traditional craft of woodcarving.
Strengthened from a sufficient local lunch, we can now look forward to the impressive Linderhof castle. We will explore the palace on a guided tour. Afterward, we will have time to walk through the beautiful exterior complex with its unique fountain and also stroll through the impressive gardens.

Stop At: Neuschwanstein Castles – Schwangau, 87645 Schwangau, Germany
I’ll pick you up at your hotel in Munich and we drive to Hohenschwangau village. First, we take the shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for some nice pictures, then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairytale castle) with a tour inside.

We can either just pass by or do some stops to take some nice lakeside pictures
Stop At: Schloss Linderhof, Linderhof 12, 82488 Ettal, Bavaria Germany
Our next stop is Linderhof Palace. Where King Ludwig II lived for more than 8 years. Here you will have time to explore the Castel from inside as well the outside like the formal gardens and Moorish Kiosk

Stop At: Oberammergau, Oberammergau, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria
We drive to the picturesque village of Oberammergau. This little historic village is famous for wood carving and for many traditional House paintings. Here you have some free time for gift-shopping. After all, we will enjoy a traditional lunch, which is included in your tour price!
