It is a drive of about 2 hours on a scenic route from Munich to Salzburg. Experience the beauty of Salzburg, home of Mozart and the Sound of Music. You will start with a tour of the city including all Sound of Music locations and a lot of Salzburg’s history. The tour of the city includes Salzburg’s best viewpoint, Mirabell Gardens, the old town, Leopoldskron castle (von Trapp house), and Hellbrunn castle (sixteen going on seventeen). After a stop at the Sound of Music Gazebo at Hellbrunn, the drive continues to the Lake district of Salzburg.

The Lake and the Castle Fuschl. Experience your first Sound of Music memory at the ecclesiastical Renaissance castle Fuschl, located on a headland above the emerald green lake. The castle was used in the film`s opening scene and other panoramic shots.
